Diet

  1. Decrease refined carbohydrates
  2. Cut animal fat from the diet as much as possible. Arachidonic acid,found in meat, increases psoriasis symptoms. Eat as many raw vegetables as possible
  3. Clean, cold-water fish is a healthy source of healthy fats.
  4. Try cutting out products containing wheat and gluten for 3-4 weeks to see if your symptoms improve.

Lifestyle

  1. Limit exposure to chlorine. Use a shower filter.
  2. Limit exposure to harsh detergents or chemicals as this can further irritate the skin.

Supplements

  1. Carlson’s Finest Fish Oil – 1 tablespoon twice daily.
  2. BioDerm – 1 capsule twice daily
  3. Cholacol  (bile acids) by Standard Process – 1-2 tablets with each meal.
  4. Folapro 5-MTH 800 mcg – 1 Capsule daily
  5. Multiple vitamin containing 800 iu of vitamin D and at least 150 mcg of selenium.
For Severe Cases add the following products:
  1. Turmeric Force by New Chapter – 2 caps twice daily.
  2. Tyler Similase - 1 capsule with each meal
  3. Trial with betain HCl to enhance the complete digestion of proteins.
