Cetyl Myristoleate 500 mg 120 Caps
Cetyl myristoleate is the common name for cis-9-cetyl myristoleate. It was discovered when aresearcher was testing anti-inflammatory drugs on labanimals. The animals had arthritis artificially inducedby the injection of a heat-killed bacterium calledFreund’s adjuvant. Swiss albino mice did not getarthritis after injection of Freund’s adjuvant;eventually, it was determined that cetyl myristoleate, present naturally in the mice, was responsible for thisprotection. Further studies have indicated that cetylmyristoleate may offer protection from thedevelopment of induced arthritis.
