Devil’s Claw has a long history of use in South Africa, where it was used to traditionally support joint and digestive function. The tubers of this plant are rich in iridoid glycosides, in particular harpagosides. The harpagosides are thought to be useful in supporting joint and connective tissue function by supporting the body’s normal inflammatory processes.
