The newest arrival to our full line of probiotic options is Probiotic Immune. This formula is derived from multiple human studies validating the effectiveness of the Howaru Bifido (HN019) and the La-14 acidophilus in enhancing immune function without an increased risk of an inflammatory response. The studies demonstrated increased natural killer cell activity with supplementation of the Bifido HN019. Likewise, administering acidophilus La-14 with vaccinations resulted in more rapid and higher response of specific immunity (IgA and IgG) than control subjects. Both strains also demonstrate improved adhesion to intestinal cells and superior resistance to acidic environments, correlating with improved viability throughout the intestinal tract. This product provides 5 billion units of each strain per capsule, for a therapeutic dose of 10 billion, and also contains fructooligosaccharides to enhance the effectiveness. As with all our probiotics, this product is kept refrigerated from the moment of processing, and is always shipped cold packed.
