Vitamin D-3 10,000 IU 60 caps

In 2007 the NIH raised their recommended upper daily limit of Vitamin D to 10,000 IU. The goal is to reach 25(OH)D3 blood levels of between 75 and 125. As a guideline, daily dosing of 5,000 IU will increase 25(OH)D3 by 50 points over 3-4 months. 10,000 IU and 25,000 IU dosing will proportionally increase these levels or decrease the time necessary to reach desired blood levels. Monitoring serum calcium and 25(OH)D3 while giving higher doses is essential.
